What does Pet Zympatico (Pet Zim-patty-co) mean?
Our inspiration was the Italian word ‘simpatico’. Being in tune with pets' needs and striving to satisfy them in a stylish way is what Pet Zympatico is all about.
We are Australian owned and operated
Pet Zympatico is based in Sydney and is 100% Australian owned and operated. This means Pet Zympatico is well placed to service our customers pet care needs throughout Australia.
Our Beginnings
The original Pet Zympatico website was ‘born’ in 2004 to introduce our own range of Pet Beds to a wider audience than we could reach via our stall at Eumundi Markets on Australia’s Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Since then our range of products has expanded to include a wide variety of urban pet essentials from other reputable brands such as Doggles, Sierra Dog Supply, Outward Hound, Gigi Olivia, Houndhouse, Miyow & Barkley and others.
Our Beds
The designs of our Loungers, Igloos and Pillboxes are exclusive to us. The fabrics we use range from cotton corduroys and polar fleeces to quality faux furs and ‘Sherpa’ with a real lambs wool look and feel. The padded foam sides and generously stuffed cushions create beds that dogs and cats love to sleep in.

Our Team
We are one human and four cats. Yes, I confess the household is dog-free, the cats just won't hear of any canine additions. The secret mission of the furry four is to test every bed made for desired comfort levels so I am extra diligent in making sure that they don’t, and that all beds arrive in a pristine state.

We acknowledge that without you we do not have a business so we place a high value on providing a personal service to all customers. You also benefit from a generous Loyalty Program and a no-questions-asked Exchange/Refund policy.
We also offer a monthly Newsletter to keep our customers in touch with general pet news and our new products.
What’s more, to keep everything simple and fair our Delivery Charge is only $8.50 for your order no matter how big the parcel is, or where you live within Australia.
Social Responsibility
At Pet Zympatico we support responsible pet ownership and agree that education of the pet-owning public is a necessary and commendable means of achieving more public awareness of the needs of the animals we choose to keep as pets.
We also recognise that the Pet Industry has an important role to play in this regard and wherever possible we support those organisations committed to improving the comfort and care of our pets as well as assisting pet rescue organisations in their work in finding dogs and cats new homes.
